Erika Ebbe, Alexander Technique
As an Alexander Technique teacher I have worked extensively with
musicians - incl. at The Royal Danish Music Academy - and dancers.
The work always includes practical aspects of the pupil’s performing.
With singers and actors f.ex., we work on:
Quality of sound, projection,
and optimal bodily support for the voice in extreme situations.
Also workshops for doctors, arthritis sufferers,
and people with heart conditions.
Member of The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.
3 years study at Victoria Training Course, London.
STAT certified 1996.
Yearly post grad. training.
Teacher: Shoshana Kaminitz.
Solo Diplomas in violin and performance practice.
Post grad. studies in Salzburg and Utrecht.
Teacher: Prof. Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
My long career as a violinist took me into most European
baroque orchestras, gave me opportunities to work as a soloist,
and as leader of own ensembles.
I am currently based in Copenhagen (Nordhavn),
but am always available for work in other places/countries.
